UGL House Rules

Family is Everything!
This is a private facility. This is your home. Please introduce yourself to everyone in the session if you don’t know them. Help us build a bigger UGL family by making sure everyone feels welcome. Encouraging your fellow Undergrounders is essential. We’re all here to achieve specific goals, be sure to lend a hand of inspiration to your fellow Undergrounder! Follow us on Facebook and Twitter. Come out to our monthly social events. Make everyone around you better, in the end, this is all for you.

Have Fun…
This is not a place where you just work out. We strive to make this a fitness experience and it should be a blast! We want you to allow yourself to be free from the stress of the outside world. This is your playground; the place where you exercise while you exorcise. Remember, it’s fun when it’s done!

Check your Ego at the door
Accidents and injuries happen and usually come as a result of lack of focus. Ask questions. Ask for help. Learn openly and eagerly. We are 100% by your side. Try hard. Pushing yourself is good, but make sure it’s done securely. If you’re planning on lifting heavy or attempting a personal record lift make sure you have a spotter ready to assist you if needed. Be aware of your surroundings and please re-rack your weights after using them. Know your limits. Know when to back off and when to turn it up. Effort earns respect.

The 4 phase formula
This is a very simple formula to get the most out of your workouts.
• Use a foam roller 10-15 minutes prior to your training session
• Mobilize/warm-up that particular muscle group (for that specific movement) prior the beginning of your training session
• Have a plan. Follow the recommended protocol firmly. Push yourself and have fun!
• Properly cool down. Stretch and use foam roller for 10 minutes at the end of your session.

Sign up!
Make certain to take the time to sign up for your desired sessions. This expresses support and gives your coaches a clear idea on how to structure equipment, organize the session, and as a result you’ll get the most from each training session. We have awesome (android and apple apps) that makes this process a breeze!

Results!
We encourage everyone to attend a minimum of 3 coached sessions per week. Whether it is fitness modules or a combination of our other programs, to see results, you must put the work in. No matter which way you gaze you will be led back to the same path. Hard and smart work rules all.

Attitude is everything!
Never say that you can’t do something, or that something seems impossible. Achievements can be done, no matter how discouraging or distressing it may be. Human beings are limited only by what we allow ourselves to be limited by; Our own minds. We are each the masters of our own reality; when we become self-aware to this, undeniably anything in the world is possible.
Master yourself, and become king/queen of the world around you. Let no odds, discipline, doubt, fear, or ANY mental voodoo prevent you from accomplishing your dreams.

*Represent*
Black and green, Two colors that may mean nothing to the outside world. But to our fellow undergrounders, it represents strength, unity, distinction, ambition, and the grounds where they prepare for whatever life may launch at them. The representation begins when they enter any situation with the mindset of integrity, dignity, and respect, because that is what we are about.

Referral
Referrals are purely the lifeblood of our profession. Nothing expresses our value to you more than a good ol’ recommendation. Help us grow our fitness community by increasing our awareness to your friends and become part of our UGL fan club referral program.
